Online Therapy in California – Licensed EMDR, CBT Support for Anxiety, Grief & Burnout

Compassionate therapy for people navigating grief, anxiety, burnout, and life’s messier seasons.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Hi, I’m Kristina Kenyon, LMFT. I offer personalized, trauma-informed therapy to adults and teens (14+) who are carrying a lot—emotionally, professionally, relationally.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-capacity people who are used to keeping things together on the outside, even when they feel disconnected or overwhelmed inside.

Whether you identify as a caregiver, high achiever, teen, or someone simply moving through a hard season—therapy offers a space to be supported in your own way.

If you’re navigating a major life transition, grieving a loss, feeling stuck in anxiety or burnout, or just longing to reconnect with yourself, therapy can help you slow down, breathe deeper, and find your next step forward.

My Approach

I draw from a range of therapeutic tools—including EMDR, somatic therapy, CBT, and insight-based approaches—to support your process holistically.

  • Compassionate & Collaborative

I offer a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to carry it all alone. You set the pace—I walk beside you with presence, care, and curiosity.

  • Trauma-Informed & Body-Based

We’ll draw from somatic therapy, EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness practices to support your nervous system, help you regulate emotion, and build deeper awareness.

  • Tailored to You

Our work together centers your lived experience. Whether you’re navigating grief, burnout, or identity shifts, therapy is adapted to your goals, values, and capacity each session.

Getting Started Is Simple:

  • Book a no-pressure call to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and explore whether we’re a good fit.

  • We’ll connect virtually through a secure video platform—so you can show up as you are, from wherever you are.

  • If it feels aligned, we’ll move forward with sessions tailored to your needs, pace, and goals.

You deserve support that fits into your life, not the other way around.

Whether you’re in San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, or a quiet place in between—therapy is available.

To simplify the process, I also partner with Thrizer, a third-party service that helps manage out-of-network claims. If you’d like to use Thrizer or have questions about how it works, I’m happy to walk you through it.
